Testimonials
Because people like to read about the experiences of others with a teacher and counselor, I am including a few client testimonials, while respecting the authors' anonymity.
The first comes from a man with whom I worked for over a year dealing with problems of alcoholism and depression. Afterwards he married, met his new business goals, and started a family:
"I am glad that I had this chance to talk to you - your influence and tutelage has helped to shape my reality. My image of myself is totally different than when I started with you. In fact I hear through the grape vine that some people would like to be like me...Imagine that.....Thank you Jonathan for inspiring me to become all that God created me to be. I have no way that I can repay you for your intervention on my self destructive behaviors and negative internal dialogue...I believe that we were all created for a purpose, and when we find it, we can do great things. You have found your purpose Jonathan ---In me you have done great things. You saved a life from self destruction and have set a new path for a less dysfunctional family tree for generations yet to come."
The second letter comes from a woman who took a one-day workshop I gave a few years back...
"What a wonderful way to spend a day. Although the more I delve into the area the more overwhelming it all seems...I thought the combination of lecture and actual practice made this more real for me. Even if I am not quite ready to get into the whole psychology of the charkas and move to the awakening point, I got some practical stuff to apply during my regular Yoga practice-primarily knowing the chakras I am effecting and some basic characteristics of each energy center...My interest is peaked even further and I look forward to future seminars...Thank you for such a special day and opening my heart and mind to such a new understanding. It causes (me) to view the world and each day so differently - in a very positive manner."
Third, a note from a woman in the midst of a total life transformation happening all at once...After our work she completed her undergraduate degree, went on to an ivy league graduate program, got a new job, and remarried.
"Ten minutes after I left you I remembered everything I wanted to say!...I wanted to say thank you...a real, honest, deep down thank you for these past 3 years. I don't think I could have weathered all of the events of these years without your support- at least not as effectively or with the ability to see past the moment - to see the meaning of the "lesson" (those damn learning experiences...) I also want to thank you because I'm really genuinely happy and I do know for a fact that I would not be beginning this new life if we had not spent these past years and if I had not had you to push me (gently, but firmly!) to see the scary stuff and finally let go."
The last comes from a yoga teacher in whose studio I led a kirtan-chanting workshop:
"So fabulous to see you. You look (like the) alive-ness of Apollo....bright powerful and fearless. Thank you for chanting and bringing your heart to the space and sharing so much of your Hero and light, voice of love and passion and healing."
