Greenlighting (radical self-acceptance) is a great practice for freeing up enough energy to realize the Self. It’s not so good at helping with the transformation away from the control of the ego and into the union with the Beloved after awakening. Who really wants to be at the mercy of all the old ego and shadow patterns, the attachments and aversions, the lusts of power/fame/money? To dissolve those requires a fierce regard for Truth, a lot of discriminating intelligence, and a willingness to admit the ‘worst’ parts of our attitudes, words and actions. Otherwise, one can just wander around for years still pushed and pulled by an ego that is unwilling to surrender its remaining control.
